Accessories for Installing Handles and Knobs
This category includes useful accessories for fitting new handles and replacing parts on existing furniture. Choose from drilling templates, handle screws and selected mounting components for cabinets, doors and drawers.
Drilling Templates
A marking template helps position handles consistently across several cabinet doors or drawers. The template indicates common fixing-centre measurements, allowing you to mark the drilling points before installation. Check that the selected holes match the measurement stated for your handle.
M4 Handle Screws
Many cabinet handles and knobs use M4 machine screws. The correct screw length depends on the thickness of the door or drawer front and the depth of the threaded insert in the fitting. Screws that are too short may not engage securely, while screws that are too long may prevent the handle from tightening correctly.
M4 refers to a metric thread with a nominal diameter of 4 mm. Follow the fitting instructions and use a suitable drill size for the furniture material. When ordering handles or knobs, check whether mounting screws are already included.
Planning the Installation
Measure and mark every position before drilling. Use a backing piece where appropriate to reduce breakout on the reverse side, and confirm that the handle will not obstruct adjacent doors or drawers. For multiple fronts, test the position on one door before drilling the full set.
